Stained Glass

I have been researching stained glass in Wales since the time that I was involved in the Imaging the Bible in Wales Project (2005–8). Initially this was mainly a case of recording stained glass, culminating in the online Stained Glass in Wales Catalogue which was launched in 2011. Once I had decided that I would produce a book about stained glass in Wales, I began to research more writing about stained glass and archival sources in order to put what I had found in the churches of Wales into a wider context.

Since 2008 I have lectured on aspects of stained glass in Wales and my book, Stained Glass from Welsh Churches, was published in June 2014 by Y Lolfa. Below are some page spreads from the book. Please contact me to order signed copies. Further information about the book, and notes on reviews and events can be found on the Stained Glasss from Welsh Churches Blog.

I have also written and designed guides to the stained glass in two churches in Wales, Llanfihangel Genau'r Glyn (published 2013) and the Church of St Mary the Virgin, Tenby (published 2014).
