Work – Graphic Design – Books 2007 Two commissions during 2007 related closely to the visual culture of medieval Wales. The cover for The Legal Triads of Medieval Wales by Sara Elin Roberts made use of patterns from Welsh medieval carving, combined with text from one of the principal manuscripts containing the laws.

The booklet for the Poets of the Nobility Project is a guide to nearly forty books of medieval Welsh poetry published by the University of Wales Centre for Advanced Welsh and Celtic Studies since 1994. A double page spread presented each volume with a description by Barry Lewis and an image to illustrate the work. Working closely with Barry Lewis and Ann Parry Owen, the Director of the project, I took much of the photography for the book, as well as preparing all the illustrations and design.
