WorkPhotography – Friends of Friendless Churches

During 2007 and again in 2009 I was commissioned to photograph some of the churches owned by the Friends of Friendless Churches in Wales for their 50th anniversary book, published in 2010. This included photography at Llandawke in Carmarthenshire, which was featured on the cover.

Symbol of St Matthew by Harry Stammers.
Virgin and Child, stained glass by Florence Camm.

Painted reredos by John Coates Carter.

For further images see also the Friends website.

I have also assisted in providing photography for their archive of redundant churches in Wales, visiting and recording churches to help with their decision-making on whether to take buildings into their care. I am also grateful to the Trustees for financial support towards additional photography of stained glass in churches which are closed or at risk, as a contribution to the Stained Glass in Wales Project.
