Work – Graphic Design As well as being an end in itself, graphic design is often a means of holding other things together, and an element of visual design has been essential to a greater or lesser extent for each of the areas of work listed here. For example, my current role as part of the Imaging the Bible in Wales research team includes the design of our website and publicity. In addition to design for other activities, I also work as a designer for printed and digital media on a freelance basis.
