The Visual Culture of Wales: Industrial Society (CD-ROM)
(Cardiff, 2000)

Work on the first CD-ROM was begun in summer 1999, after the publication of the book in October 1998. In addition to the images and text included in the printed version, the CD-ROM included new audio-visual and documentary material.

This new material was created mainly by Will Howard and myself, as well as Peter Lord, who prepared new texts, and Sean Vicary, who contributed video and animations.

One of my photographs from a series of the steel works at Margam, from the Time Gallery section. These images were used together with photographs of the works under construction by Wolf Suschitsky, and photographs by the painter Denis Short.
