Work – Web Design

Having worked on various multimedia projects since 1996, it was not until 2004 that I first attempted to navigate my way into web design, when I was asked to become webmaster for the Museum and Galleries site of the University of Wales, Aberystwyth (now Aberystwyth University). The extensive and varied art collections are managed by staff at the School of Art in Aberystwyth, who also hold a series of changing exhibitions throughout the year. Subsequently I took over the School of Art's site, and the two sites were made live in April 2005.

While working on the Imaging the Bible in Wales Project (2005–8), I designed and maintained the Research Centre's website:

Subsequently, I developed further sites for two artists and a large group exhibition:

SPGW – International Contemporary Lithography Exhibition
Simon Pierse – watercolour and mixed media artist
Mary Lloyd Jones – painter

All of these projects are of course collaborations, often utilising my own design and photography as required.

Since 2008 I have collaborated with IT consultant Nigel Callaghan, of Technoleg Taliesin, providing the graphic design for a series of research projects and databases:

Monastic Wales
Imaging the Bible in Wales
Stained Glass in Wales
Wales and the French Revolution

For these projects I have provided the design, while the content is managed in a database developed by Technoleg Taliesin.

Aberystwyth University School of Art had its sites reorganised by the University web team in 2010, and I continue to edit new combined site.
